England Athletics

HI Runners is affiliated to England Athletics, the membership and development body for athletics and running clubs in England. When you join HI Runners, part of your membership fee goes to England Athletics to continue their work and provide both you and the club with a variety of benefits. Park runs are free, weekly, community events run all over the world, typically 5km in length. Our local park runs are at Storey’s Field (Eddington), Milton Country Park and Coldham’s Common, you’ll regularly find our members there or being Parkrun tourists in other locations!


Couch to 5k

Couch to 5k running plan designed to get complete beginners from couch potato to running 5km (or 30 minutes) in nine weeks. It’s a great way to start, but you don’t need to be able to run 5km before joining HI Runners!

There isn’t much kit you need for running but a good pair of shoes is important if you are doing a few miles. The following shop offers advice and gait analysis (as well as a club discount):
